Behind Micropascal you’ll find the tonmeister Torsten Jessen, who offers his skills to all practising musicians and to radio and record labels on a freelance basis.

 

As a music producer, it is my mission to quickly win the trust and confidence of the musician in order to enable him or her to focus on the music. During the recording, I guide the musicians through the process and allow them to re-listen, re-play and repair passages when necessary. Close adherence to this production method makes it possible to achieve a recorded result that often surpasses the expectations of the musicians themselves.

 

Musical education and career: 

  • Bachelor degree in musicology / musical technology from Aalborg University
  • Degree in Tonmeister from Royal Danish Academy of Music (technical study at National 
    • Danish Radio)
  • Courses given by acoustic consultants Delta Acoustics & Vibration
  • International seminars at AES conventions in New York (Audio Engineering Society)
